Dec. 31, 2025 - Shanghai, China — JCET Group (600584.SH), a leading global provider of integrated circuit (IC) back-end manufacturing and technology services, today announced that its automotive-grade assembly and test facility, JCET Shanghai Automotive Co., Ltd. (JSAC), has successfully achieved production line readiness this month. Multiple automotive semiconductor programs from customers in China and overseas are now moving quickly through product qualification and volume ramp at JSAC, supporting critical automotive applications such as intelligent driving and power management.

JSAC is positioned as a smart factory dedicated to automotive-grade semiconductor packaging and testing. Located in the Shanghai Lingang New Area, the site spans approximately 35 acres, with Phase I featuring 50,000 square meters of cleanroom space. Since construction began in August 2023, the project has progressed through two years of intensive build-out and system integration, completing construction works, tool move-in, and process qualification to begin operations as planned. Designed to meet customers’ automotive-grade manufacturing requirements, JSAC provides a turnkey service offering across packaging and test — supporting close collaboration throughout the full product lifecycle, from initial introduction and qualification to mass production ramp.

The facility is equipped with industry-leading automated production lines, enabling end-to-end coverage of smart manufacturing and lean operations. JSAC has developed an integrated, globally competitive set of automotive-grade assembly and test process solutions focused on key manufacturing steps. The factory also incorporates AI-assisted defect inspection and a big-data-enabled traceability system, forming a closed-loop quality and operations framework that is traceable, measurable, and continuously optimizable. 

To meet the automotive industry’s stringent expectations for safety and reliability, JSAC leverages a zero-defect quality system and tightly controlled end-to-end manufacturing processes, providing customers with strong assurance for qualification, production introduction, and long-term stable supply.
